On Sunday 25th June, twenty-four members of staff, from Framlingham College and Framlingham College Prep School ran the Ipswich 10 km Race For Life.
It was an absolutely amazing day. There were so many emotions especially at the beginning when a minute’s silence was held for all those affected by cancer. The group of ladies ran, jogged and walked their way around the course and in the end, all the College Staff who had finished, went back and crossed the line with the last group, so that they could all cross together, linking arms and high-fiving over the line.
A huge thank you to Michaela Challis for organising the staff team, who have raised at least £4,500 pounds so far!
Elsewhere, Ellie and Poppy Mayall (Year 12 and Year 10 respectively) and Ella Hamilton-Wright (Year 12) also completed a 5km Race For Life on Saturday beating their estimated time, but most importantly with bags of laughter and supporting a charity very close to their hearts which has affected a number of their close family. The girls raised £300 for the charity, well done to them!
