Post GCSE Life Skills and Activities

London Dungeons

The Post GCSE Life Skills and Activities sessions started this week with a day in London. Year 11 students enjoyed the sunshine of South Bank before braving the London Dungeons.

First Aid

As part of Post GCSE Life Skills and Activities, twenty three Year 11 students completed a one day first aid course. This qualification was run by St John and taught a variety of skills from simple dressing small cuts to resuscitation.

Food Hygiene

A number of Year 11 took advantage of the offer to complete their Food Hygiene Level 2 . This course which is accredited by City and Guilds not only taught them useful food preparation skills but is also recognised by employers.
