On Monday 13th November, Framlingham College Prep School hosted a swimming gala for Holmwood House, Old Buckenham Hall (OBH), Orwell Park and Finborough. Over 125 eight to thirteen-year-olds packed into the swimming pool area, plus their families and friends on the balcony, to watch a wonderful display of competitive swimming. Many congratulations to all who took part – 11 records were broken, 4 new records set and an astonishing 44 PBs achieved!!
The children gained motivation to train even harder in order to improve next time.
Results were as follows:
- U9 girls: Finborough 3rd, Holmwood House 2nd and FCPS 1st
- U9 boys: Finborough 2nd, FCPS 1st
- U11 and U13 boys and girls:
- Finborough 5th
- OBH 4th
- Holmwood 3rd
- FCPS 2nd
- Orwell Park 1st
