On Tuesday, Simon Bridge was a guest of the College. Simon has a great deal of experience as an actor and works in education for the Globe Theatre. He took both Year 10 and Year 11 for separate 45 minute introductions to ‘Romeo and Juliet’ where lively drama-based activities engaged students in really thinking about how characters from literature are brought to life on a stage.
The Upper Sixth English Literature students spent a hugely productive hour and a half in Simon’s company, exploring performance aspects of ‘Othello’ and we look forward to more sessions in the future.
