After the best effort of the Framlingham ground staff the home game was sadly postponed due a downpour of snow back in December, therefore 1st February saw the U14 girls travel to Oundle for their long awaited National Finals Qualifier match. The game began with both teams contesting the ball, Liv Buchanan was able to break the stalemate with an excellent carry and a near post shot. Oundle were not going to let it slide playing the long ball through to a high forward who was able to beat the keeper and score. An almost identical goal was score with Liv Buchanan carrying the ball into the space before slipping it back to Martha Green on the back post. Half term came with a 2-2 score following an almost identical goal from Oundle.
The Fram girls continued to battle hard in the second half, retaining lots of possessions and pressuring the Oundle defence. The first goal was another from Liv Buchanan with a strong carry down the baseline, 3-2. As the girls fought till the end there were two late goals, one from Emma Williamson from a short corner and one from Georgie Gardens, a reverse stick shot into the top right hand corner.
