House Dance is taken very seriously at Fram and a tremendous amount of thought and effort goes into every performance. In the four minutes or so allotted to them there is so much going on and they all tend to choose six or more modern tunes to interpret in a whirl wind of activity – and they are all quite similar and quite excellent.

In many respects it is a pity that there are winners and losers because, as a judge, the margins between them all is so small. I feel for those who return to their Houses – disappointed. So sincere congratulations to them all and to Garrett, Pembroke and Victoria (pictured above), in particular, who managed to secure 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively. The trick next is to find a way to stand out and that doesn’t mean being whacky. A House that finds a completely different formula next year could profit.
