An unprecedented five pupils from Framlingham College Prep School scored amongst the top 3% in a maths competition which comprised 270,000 pupils nationwide this year. Ben K, James T, Seth F, Charlie A and Lottie J were awarded a cuddly kangaroo toy as well as their UK Maths Trust Junior Maths Competition certificates in assembly today as they made it through to the curiously named ‘Kangaroo Round’ as well as achieving Gold Certificates. A further twenty mathematicians from the Senior Prep were awarded Silver and Bronze certificates today in recognition of their mathematical achievements.
Mrs Russell (Head of Mathematics) said, ” It is wonderful for our school community to recognise and be inspired by the talent and grit shown by our senior mathematicians.”
