Framlingham Dominates Tennis County Finals with 6 Golds and 10 Silvers

This summer has been a very successful one for both the Framlingham College Prep School and Senior School teams.

In total 33 teams were entered in age groups ranging from Under 8 through to Under 15. In excess of 120 matches were played in the summer term.

Of the 33 teams that entered 24 of these made it through the qualifying stages to reach County Finals. This has resulted in 6 County Champions and 10 Runners up awards.

There have been some real highlights:
-The Girls’ teams have won all except one age group across the board (Under 8 through to Under 15)
-Both Under 11 Boys’ and Girls’ teams have won the Premier league which is the Premier event in Junior Under 11 Tennis.
-In both the Under 13 and Under 15 leagues Framlingham College Under 13 and Under 15 filled the first 3 places in both age groups in the County Finals overcoming 22 and 18 teams respectively in the process.
