Over half term 30 prep school pupils swiftly travelled to Paris by Eurostar. We stayed by the banks of the Seine and were able to walk to many of the key attractions.
The group visited the Musée d’Orsay and studied the impressionist art and viewed the Mona Lisa and the epic paintings of Napoleon in the Louvre.
The highlight for many was an early evening ascent of the Eiffel Tower with all the glittering lights of the city.
Our pupils spoke in French to order food and buy souvenirs and absorbed the French culture all about them.
The trip was a great success and a memorable experience for all.
