Framlingham College has teamed up with Noggin Sport, a Community Interest Company which manufactures branded sportswear, in a bid to raise awareness of mental health issues in sport and directly fund mental health projects.
The College has ordered bobble hats from the firm and are promoting the initiative amongst pupils, staff, parents and the wider College community. The hats are in the College colours as well as incorporating the logos of both organisations.
Director of Sport, Nick Gandy, said: “We decided to make an order as the sample hats that we received last year were so well-received. We have had a number of requests from parents to offer the hats for sale, especially as the weather has become a great deal colder. This year especially, we’ve all been made aware of mental health issues in society, and in sport particularly, so we are pleased to be able to raise awareness in this way.”

Noggin was set up by two brothers who are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health in sport. The organisation is a Community Interest Company whereby all profits go towards mental health projects in the UK and Ireland.
