Lisa is currently the Assistant Coach of England U21 Women Hockey.

Lisa has an outstanding track record as both a player and coach. She was capped 97 times for England and Great Britain, playing in every major tournament from England U16 in 1995 through to Seniors including the World Cup in Madrid 2006, Bronze Medal in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2006, Bronze medal in the European Cup in Belfast & ending her career after the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Her coaching career has now spanned over 20 years coaching both international teams and nationally successful club teams. Lisa has coached internationally since 2014 with Belgium and England age group sides and as assistant to the Belgium Senior Men Indoor Squad and has coached club teams in England, Belgium and Germany since 2000.

Hockey has taken her and her family around the world and provided opportunity for her and family to live in Belgium for 8 years and Germany for one year. Coaching in Europe has enabled her to gain invaluable experience as a Head Coach in both the men’s and women’s club game. As Head Coach of the Waterloo Ducks they won both indoor and outdoor national titles; and as Head Coach of the Royal Wellington men in 2015 she was the first female to coach in the top Mens League in Belgium. She is now recognised as one of the leading female coaches in England and Great Britian.

In 2020, Lisa returned to the UK to take up her roles with England Hockey. the Lead Talent Coach for England Hockey and England U18 Head Coach. Moving to Framlingham in 2023 to take the position as Head of Hockey allowing her the time on the hockey pitch to develop every age group from the very beginners at U6 through to the England U21 Women semi-professional players she gets to span the whole range of development which she finds hugely motivating and rewarding. Progression of individuals not just as players but as team mates and individuals is what inspires her daily.

Lisa is highly driven and motivated. She is committed to developing a passion and excitement for hockey throughout the College, and to nurturing talent at all levels, from the youngest Prep School players to our 1st XI squads.
