MOD Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA)
Service families in receipt of the MOD CEA are offered a discounted full boarding fee, which enables their children to attend Framlingham College. CEA parents are expected to fund a minimum level of 10% of the school’s fees, as required by the MOD. The combination of the CEA funding and the Framlingham College fee remission of 26.2% of the school fees provides a very attractive offer to Service parents.
For the school year 2024/25 the full boarding fees at Framlingham College are £40,869 for pupils in Year 9 and above. After deducting the MOD CEA maximum award of £26,076 and the Framlingham College remission of £11,566, the parental contribution is £4,086 per annum (£1,362 per term).
