Joining Framlingham College in August 2023 as Head of Prep School PE and Games, Andy brought over two decades of expertise in sports development and education, culminating in eight successful years leading the Suffolk Cricket Performance Pathway and managing an independent cricket academy.
Andy’s extensive career also includes pivotal roles such as Head of Sport at Culford School and Head of Boarding at Moreton Hall, alongside a variety of other impactful positions within sport. A versatile and highly qualified sports professional, Andy holds credentials across a broad spectrum of disciplines, from dance and gymnastics to numerous field sports. This diverse foundation enables him to address a wide range of developmental needs for our pupils and teams.
Beyond coaching, his passion for sports administration and player development sets him apart as a leader in the field. Sport has always been a cornerstone of Andy’s life, reflected in achievements such as representing the South African Junior Cross Country Team, South African Indoor Cricket team and competing internationally with the Italian Cricket Team for a decade. Adding to this illustrious career, Andy holds a Guinness World Record for the longest cricket net by a male cricketer, clocking an impressive, continuous, 50 hours and 14 minutes.
