Framlingham College Prep School was transformed into Hogwarts for our fantastic Harry Potter Week which took place February 10 – 14.
Ahead of February Half Term, our Prep School boarders experienced the wizarding world of Harry Potter with a magical week of events and activities.
Starting off the week, just like Harry Potter’s first day at Hogwarts, pupils were sorted into Hogwarts Houses before an evening of ‘potions’, slime making and wand making workshops with their Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin classmates.
Other activities throughout the week included a Horcrux Escape Room – where pupils worked together against the clock to find all the hidden horcruxes to defeat Voldemort and escape the common room – as well as a classic Harry Potter film night complete with sweet treats from ‘Honeydukes Sweet Shop’.
For the final evening, pupils dressed to impress as their favourite Harry Potter characters and headed to the ‘Grand Hall’ for the closing House Dinner ‘feast’, before gathering in the common room for a wonderful reading of The Philosopher’s Stone by Head of the Prep School, Simon Roche.
