Archie Winter and Katie Bornova secured an excellent 4 & 3 victory in the top match. Well done in particular to Katie in her first match for the College. Jake Swinburn and Alex Gordon were outplayed therefore, it was all down to Julius ‘the shank’ Schenk and Josh Lecompte. Despite a commanding lead they were pegged back before winning the deciding match on the 17th. Thank you to New Hall for hosting us and we look forward to the next round at Aldeburgh.
The team will now to face Bedford in the HMC Foursomes at Aldeburgh GC.
