Today was an incredible day for tennis at Brandeston Hall. In the morning our U8A and B girls competed in the Suffolk Finals with the Bs coming fourth in the county and the As defeating Culford to become Suffolk Champions. Well done to Evie, Mia S, Etty, Mia N, Connie, Pip, Grace and Totty.
Following this in the U8 boys’ County Finals, the U8A boys team beat Holbrook in the semi-final and in absolutely thrilling final, which finished 3 sets all and 49 points all, the boys won a nail-biting shoot out 10-6 against a super South Lee team. Well done Nick, Miles, Toby and Callum.
And to round off a hat-trick of wonderful performances our U11A, B and C girls’ teams competed in the Framlingham Festival today. The Cs played very well coming 7th, the Bs came 3rd and in another thrilling final the As beat Widford Lodge, from Essex, with Holly Wills being voted ‘Player of the tournament’.
Well done to Emma, Tabby, Marnie, Holly, Cee, Iona, Eloise, Anna, Hetta, Annie, Annabel and Evie for your super efforts today.
