On Friday 17th November a minibus full of Sixth Form artists went to the University of Suffolk, Ipswich foyer to attend the private view of the Anna Airey Award exhibition and regional competition 2017. Many had work on display, but this event is also very useful to see what pupils in other schools are doing and to get an idea of the regional standard. As ever, the work on display was outstanding and the students were in awe of the winning paintings submitted from a wide range of local schools. We were thrilled that Harry Blake-Baldry was awarded Highly Commended for his urban film pieces that look at graffiti and abandoned spaces.
