Well done to the following BH girls and boys who were ‘Players of the Year’ for Harleston Magpies Hockey Club.
U9 Beth Gardens, U10 Anna Cogdell, U10 Charlie Hall.U11 Emma Williamson and U12 Georgie Gardens.
To present the awards and inspire the next generation, current Framlingham College pupil Abby Gooderham from the Ladies 1st team and England U18s presented the awards to the girls, whilst former Brandeston Hall and Framlingham College pupil, Tom Ridley from the Men’s 1st team player and winner of ‘Player of the Season’ at U13, U14 and U16 level presented the boys with their awards.
We are very proud of the pupils recent hockey achievements, including our 6 players who represented their counties at U13 level last weekend and also of our long-standing links with Harleston Magpies.
Good luck also to Bruce Daniels who will be representing Harleston Magpies at the National Hockey Finals at Beeston HC on Sunday.
