We have created yet another cricket pitch (the second in recent years) at the College to reflect the growth of girls’ cricket at both the Prep and Senior School as well as continued enjoyment and success for the boys.
The new pitch provides another beautiful and high-quality ground for cricket with spectacular views over the iconic Framlingham Castle and the School.
The pitch has been named “Fane’s” in honour of the school’s recently retired Chairman of Governors, Andrew Fane, who was always such a keen supporter of sport at the school.
Headmaster Paul Taylor commented: “ It was a rare Saturday when Andrew was not on the touchline or boundary, and it is entirely appropriate that a man who was Chairman for 17 years (and a governor for 21) should have his name associated with the school in perpetuity.”
