Our incredible prep-school pupils wow-ed audiences with their sold out performance of Shrek! The Musical JR.
Parents and the school community enjoyed two magical evenings of music and laughter as pupils from Year 6, 7 and 8 showcased their incredible talents for acting, singing and dance. This year’s spring production of Shrek was a fresh and modern project for our drama pupils and staff who helped to bring the Kingdom of Duloc to life.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical, Shrek The Musical JR., everyone’s favourite green ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted comedy fairy tale, Shrek JR. was an irreverently fun show for the whole family.
Performing much loved musical hits ‘Big Bright Beautiful World’ and ‘I Know It’s Today’ in vibrant and imaginative costumes, parents were also treated to a plethora of comedic timing and inside jokes and slap-stick style comedy content suitable for all ages.
