For the past year Tom Dalton in Year 13 has been working with Felixstowe Trade and Enterprise College, to complete his Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers course. A course which in its own right is worth the equivalent of three A Levels.
Tom was nominated for an award due to his excellent effort, tenacity and achievement in his studies. The ceremony, which took place on Thursday 17th of March, saw Tom fight off stiff competition to win the award for his achievements and it was noted that he was the youngest student, to undertake this programme of study.
He was given special recognition for his achievements and his ability to combine his A Level studies, with this intensive and extremely difficult course.
