During the first half of term there have been some fine victories from the teams from as young as U9 Girls to the 1st XI Boys. As part of these victories there have been an astonishing number of outstanding individual batting and bowling performances including Captain of the Girls’ 1st XI, Lottie Riley, taking 5 wickets for only 4 runs. Special mention to:
- Jack Hobbs 100 not out for the 1st XI against St Joseph’s College
- Freddie Heldreich 7-34 for the 1st XI against St Joseph’s College
- Tom Addison 5-14 for the 2nd XI against St Joseph’s College
- Jonty Lecompte 124 not out for the 2nd XI against Ipswich School
- Sam Mermagen 6-7 for the 3rd XI against Gresham’s School
- Bailey Farrant 107 not out against St Joseph’s College and 103 not out against Ipswich School, both for the U15A XI
- Elliot Fox 5-27 for the U15A against St. Joseph’s College
- George Jackson 5-13 for the U14 XI against RHS
- Lottie Riley 5-4 for the Girls’ 1st XI against Norwich School
The staff common room currently contains six members with either First Class or Minor Counties experience, all eager to pass on their knowledge to the next generation and to ensure that the College’s proud traditions are further enhanced by our cricketing provision for both boys and girls.
