Our boarders were transported into the pages of our favourite fairytales with our fantastic Disney Week which took place at the end of May.
To mark the mid-point of the Summer Term, Prep School boarders experienced the whimsy and wonder of the Magic Kingdom with a week of events and activities themed around classic Disney tales.
Starting off the week with a classic Disney Sing-Along, our pupils took part in a Disney karaoke night, featuring original classics such as The Lion King’s ‘Circle of Life’ to new favourites like Moana’s ‘How Far I’ll Go’.
Other activities throughout the week included Mickey’s Movie Night with iconic Disney films from the early 90s shown on our big screen cinema complete with popcorn and sweet treats, and a pizza making night inspired by a line in Ratatouille which states: “Anyone can cook!”
For the final evening, pupils took to the stage in a Disney Talent Show and Awards Evening for a night of singing, dancing and acting, as pupils recreated scenes from their favourite Disney films – real ‘Oscar’ style trophies were given to those who impressed the audience the most!
