After last year’s debut performance, the College’s Year 9 once again made the global final and finished 41st in the world. A fine achievement after we topped our regional heats. Wordmania is a fast-paced app game where students effectively have to play Scrabble but with a race against time as they have 3 minutes to make as many words as possible out of the letter tiles generated – and it really creates a buzz around vocabulary. Top players in the year were Tom Cullen, Ruby Boddy and Chi-Chi Oduah-Ogiemwonyi.
