After more than 150 pupils participated in our in-class rounds and further quarter and semi-finals, 6 pupils made the final: Amy S, Chi-Chi and Ruby B from Year 10, Thomas Y and Carmen K from Year 11 and Lucas W from Year 12.
All six competed superbly in our final but it was Ruby who our three scoring judges deemed the deserving winner for reciting ‘Miss Loo’ and ‘Considering the Snail’.
She will receive a book prize and will also be videoed performing her recitations – this video will then be uploaded to the competition website and maybe Ruby will follow in OF Dominic W’s footsteps and reach the National Finals!
