Friday 15th saw our latest ‘CSI Day’ where the whole of Year 9 are split into groups and are sent off to various rooms and labs throughout the day, armed only with a mysterious USB stick, some suspect transcripts and some video ‘evidence’. As the day went on, new clues were dropped in and the teams had to conduct scientific tests, crack codes and listen to recordings of the suspects’ interviews to try and work out who had killed ‘Mr Tinker of Saxtead College’. It was a real test of teamwork, resilience and logical thinking and it was good to see so many really throw themselves into the tasks and write up their logbooks so diligently.
